A headband reads your brainwaves while a story unfolds on screen. The plot, pictures, and sound change with how focused or relaxed you actually are, so no two people ever experience the same story.

Why it won: The headband is a real brainwave sensor reading the electrical activity of your mind, not a gimmick guessing from your face. Drift off and the story notices and turns; lock in and it rewards you. Stories have gone one direction, author to reader, for five hundred years; this is a genuine attempt at a story that reads its reader back.
