A robotic water-gun turret for your houseplants. It looks around the room, figures out which plants are thirsty, then aims and squirts each one with exactly the water it needs.

Why it won: Ordinary sprinklers waste up to half their water by treating every plant the same. The turret checks the soil and looks at each plant before deciding who gets a drink, and adding a new plant is a database entry, not new plumbing. It is a joke gun wrapped around a serious idea about wasting less water.
