Write a math equation on a real piece of paper and a projector instantly draws the graph beside it on your desk. A camera reads your handwriting, so ordinary paper becomes a living math notebook.

Why it won: The team borrowed the idea from Dynamicland, a famous experiment arguing computers should live in the room with you instead of behind glass. The hard part is agreement: the camera and the projector must line up exactly on where your handwriting sits. Any paper you set on the desk becomes part of the interface, which is the whole point: no screen, no app, just the desk.
