A device that listens along to an elderly person's phone calls. The moment a caller starts to sound like a scammer, it warns them with lights and a spoken alert, then texts their family.

Why it won: There is no app to download and nothing for the older person to learn; a small computer the size of a deck of cards just sits by the phone and listens to calls on speaker. That matters because scam victims are pressured in the moment, before family has any chance to step in. Protection has to work without asking anything of the person being protected, and this asks nothing.
