A crafting game played in the real world through smart glasses. You grab floating objects with your bare hands and smash them together to invent new ones, so a duck plus a car becomes a quackmobile.

Why it won: The combinations are not looked up from a list; an AI invents the result of every collision on the spot, so the game cannot run out of things to make. Ask for a dragon and one appears floating in front of you. The games it grew from proved infinite crafting is addictive on a screen; this shows the screen was optional.
