A rhythm game that teaches you sign language. Letters fall down the screen like musical notes, and you score by making each hand sign in time with the music while your webcam checks you got it right.

Why it won: The sign recognition answers in about a twentieth of a second, fast enough for the game to run on rhythm and combos like a real arcade title, and that speed came from a sign-reading AI the team trained themselves. Forty-eight million Americans are deaf or hard of hearing, yet very few hearing people ever learn to sign. Making practice addictive is a serious attempt at that gap.
